Large Nut Wizard
Includes Wire Dumper
The Large Nut Wizard is an excellent black walnut picker upper or sweet gumball rake.
It must work really well for picking up sweet gum tree gumballs because people tell their friends to get a Large Nut Wizard from Lawn-Gardening-Tools.com.
My brother uses the Large Nut Wizard to pick up black walnuts. So I know when I ship out a Large Nut Wizard to someone who has a Black Walnut Tree that I will be putting a smile on someone's face.
The Large Nut Wizard also picks up pine cones around my yard. I don't have a pine tree in my yard, but my neighbors do. Large Nut Wizards make neighbors with pine trees a little more tolerable.
The Nut Wizard goes by many other names:
nut picker, nut roller, gum ball picker, nut picker-upper, basket nut tool, nut grabber, yard roller, walnut roller, nut tool, walnut rake, nut collector, acorn rake, sweet gum ball rake, and acorn gatherer.
I pick these Large Nut Wizards straight up from the factory. I buy at their best volume pricing. Since I don't have to pay shipping costs, I don't have to mark up shipping in my costs to you. I ship everyday from my own warehouse so you can have the fastest shipping at the lowest prices.

I have a large gum ball tree and my neighbor has one that also falls into my yard. I considered getting mine cut, but I would still need to contend with my neighbor's tree. I've been raking, picking by hand, vacuuming these things for years and nothing works well - until now. The nut wizard makes picking up these things manageable. I was reluctant to try this after reading a review about the gum ball stems. The only problem I had with the stems is that sometimes a ball or two doesn't want to leave the basket because the stem gets caught. Not really a big deal, I just pull the those out. Overall it works very well and I am really pleased. Other than cutting down the tree, this is the best solution I've found for picking up gum balls. Well worth the price.

My boyfriend spent his entire life hand picking black walnuts off the ground each fall in the backyard. I surprised him with this and he was shocked into silence (which is rare), only after a few minutes was he able to whisper "My childhood was a lie" and he immediately went outside to test it. It's a wonderful product and I recommend it to anyone who has a walnut tree.

Nifty and indispensable tool!
I have three huge walnut trees in my yard, and this year they dropped thousands and thousands of ankle-breaking nuts. Out of desperation, I purchased this picker-upper to see if it might save me the back-breaking task of picking them up by hand. What a great tool! I filled my yard wagon to heaping in a leisurely, and somewhat enjoyable, hour. Money well spent...worth it's weight in walnuts.

What a brilliant piece of engineering. Someone did the math to figure out just how much tension needs to be on those wires to level sweet gum balls off of the lawn or the road. Nicely done. Aim for the widest part of the circumference and this thing works like a dream.

Pros: LOVE IT 10 stars
After many years of stumbling over black walnuts, I found the nut wizard. It is a wonder. Picks up walnuts in a flash. The kids and neighbors fight to get a turn to wield it's power! I picked up a garden wagon full of walnuts easily in about 15 minutes, but who was counting as it was so fun to see the darn things disappear. So, the horses were watching, they think walnuts in the hull are pears. They neighed to me, - Try it to pick up some pears for us! Yup, worked like a champ. Picked up 4 buckets of pears while the horses applauded in the corral. EVERYONE and thing at my farm is so happy we have the Nut Wizard. Picks up apples too!
